What is Ourdream AI?

Ourdream AI (ourdream.ai) is a browser-based AI companion and chat platform for adults. You pick a ready-made character or build your own, then chat, exchange AI-generated images, request short video clips and, on paid plans, make voice calls. Its terms name Dream Studio USA, Inc. and Dream Studio LLC (Albuquerque, New Mexico) along with a Cyprus company, Tektopia Ltd, as operators. Key features

Chat and interactive stories. Chat is the core of Ourdream. Subscribers get unlimited messages on the standard chat models. Two "thinking" models (Genius and Lively Genius) cost one DreamCoin per reply. Independent reviewers generally describe the writing as coherent and flexible for different scenarios. The downside they mention is that long scenes can get a bit flowery. Ourdream doesn't officially name the underlying model. Some third parties say it's based on DeepSeek, but the company hasn't confirmed that.

Memory. This is where Ourdream stands out. It keeps an automatic memory log that refreshes roughly every 20 AI messages, and it also has a "pinned memories" field you control, which reportedly grew to 15,000 characters in 2026. Character consistency and long-term recall come up as the most repeated praise in public user feedback. It's still a summary system, not a perfect transcript, so small details from early sessions can fade unless you pin them.

Character creation. The builder lets you set appearance, personality, scenario, example dialogue and voice, with realistic or anime styles. Public characters go through manual review before they're listed. Group chats with several characters are available on paid plans.

Images. Third-party summaries of the help centre's cost guide put standard images at around 10 coins per pair and in-chat images at about 5 coins. Reviewers say faces stay fairly consistent from one generation to the next.

Voice. Some narration voices are free and premium voices cost coins. Live voice calls are reported at about 50 coins per minute. Quality is usually described as solid rather than outstanding.

Video. Video is priced by the second, reportedly 100 coins per five seconds, with extra charges for "ultra" quality and added audio. It is also the feature people complain about most. Reviewers and Trustpilot posters report failed jobs and clips that drift from the prompt.

These prices come from Ourdream's official help centre (article edited July 2026) and are in US dollars:

Coin top-ups are reported by third parties at 1,000 coins for $11.99, 5,000 for $49.99 and 20,000 for $159.99. You reportedly need an active subscription to buy them.

What that means in practice. If you mostly chat and make a few images, the subscription covers most of what you'll do. A thousand coins goes a long way on images alone: roughly 200 standard images if you did nothing else. Voice calls use it up much faster. About 20 minutes of calling uses a whole month's allowance. A single 30-second video can cost around 600 coins. So a video-heavy month will almost certainly need top-ups.

Things to know before paying:

• Plans renew automatically. You cancel from your profile page.
• When your subscription lapses, previously generated images and videos are reportedly blurred until you resubscribe. Download anything you want to keep.
• Refunds are strict. Third-party write-ups of the policy say there's no refund once more than 25% of a product has been used, and crypto payments are never refunded.

Privacy and safety notes

• 18+ only. Ourdream AI is for adults 18+. It uses an age gate at entry. In most places this is a self-declared confirmation. Some regions reportedly get an extra verification step, but Ourdream hasn't published which regions or which provider.
• Content rules. Mature content settings are available for adult users. The community rules ban minors in any mature-content context, and they also reject slurs and several other themes.
• Data. Chats and generations are stored on Ourdream's servers. The help centre says account deletion is permanent, removes chats, generations and unused coins, and takes 24–48 hours. No public data breach was found in our research. Treat it as private but not anonymous: don't share real names, addresses or photos of real people.
• Money. The service runs on a subscription plus a coin economy, which makes it easy to overspend. Set a budget before you start using video or voice calls.
